Meet Our Case Competition Judges

Jeremy Showalter started traveling around the world as a child and has had short and long-term experiences in India, Ecuador, Canada, Costa Rica, and Ireland before earning degrees in business from the University of Chicago, science and technology public policy from George Washington University, and engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He is responsible for global programs for Microsoft Philanthropies Technology for Social Impact Group and recently served as the Microsoft Vietnam COO/CMO.  Jeremy previously held roles in marketing, sales, product management, and corporate finance.

Annie Moon is Executive Director, Global Skincare Marketing at The Estee Lauder Companies. Annie previously served as an Asia-Pacific regional marketer in Singapore and held progressive brand marketing roles at various CPG companies (Estee Lauder, Coty, and Johnson & Johnson). In 2014, Annie started AMP consulting that provides strategy and branding thought leadership to early stage start-ups and nonprofits. She holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Prof. John Mulford is Director of Regent University’s Center for Entrepreneurship and a professor specializing in entrepreneurship, economic development, and Business as Mission worldwide.

LZ is Vice President of Sales for a U.S. Fortune 500 company in China. His team is responsible for sales, commercial operations and applications engineering with staff located in four cities. His previous roles in the company include strategy and business development, product line management, market intelligence, and M&A integration. LZ previously worked as a management consultant for Bain & Company in Boston and New York. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University and a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Chris W. is a private equity executive focused on education technology in Greater China, supporting market entry, partnerships, product development, and growth. He studied at the University of Melbourne.

Jimmy Quach is Founder and CEO of Good Paper, a fair trade company creating jobs for human trafficking survivors. He holds degrees from Harvard and UC Berkeley and serves with InterVarsity.

Patrick Fisher is Founder of Creation Investments and Partner at Promus Holdings. He has extensive experience in global finance, banking, and investments, including roles at JPMorgan Chase.

Pui C. studied Economics and International Relations at Stanford and Law at NYU. He has experience in commercial litigation, investments, and advising companies across diverse industries.

Matt is a supply chain analytics professional with extensive experience in Asia, combining global business expertise with a passion for workplace ministry.

Calvin is a Fortune 500 marketing leader with experience at Bain & Company and REDF, combining business, social impact, and medical technology.

Brian co-founded Liferay in 2000 and helped grow it into a global open-source enterprise leader, with 800+ employees worldwide and no venture capital.
