Beijing, China

Center of government & academia

Beijing is the capital of China since 1300s. It is the political and cultural center of the country.

With 70 institutions of higher education, it is the place to be if one is to influence the best minds and the thinking of her people.

The city's modern amenities make it very livable for western expats. But the air pollution is a severe health hazard that has turned many foreigners away.

Beijing has a well established and vibrant International Christian Fellowship with branches around the city. There are also large Three Self churches with over 1000 worshippers in their English services. The local faith community includes large house churches meeting in office towers as well as smaller ones in apartment units.
